The final version of the GIPO Tool has been released!

We're pleased to announce the final version of the GIPO Tool (4th iteration). As usual you can check it at

• Among the updates included in this release that you can see are the following: There is a new simple form to suggest new sources:

• There is a new list of "candidates" to sources: with sources proposed by users plus sources automatically discovered and proposed by the tool itself.

•If the default language of your browser is other than English, then you will see an option to activate/deactivate automatic tags translation at the top of the "Latest updates" section on the home page, and also at the top of the "Refine by" section on the search results page.

Federation Roadmap II - how to build sustainable cooperation

The Federation Roadmap aims to define how the GIPO Observatory Tool and other internet policy initiatives can collaborate. A survey have been performed among stakeholders and two areas of collaboration have been identified, with both observatories and stakeholders. IGF 2017 First Open Consultations and MAG Meeting

The first Open Consultations and MAG meeting of the IGF 2017 preparatory cycle will take place from 1-3 March at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG).

The main purpose of the 3-day meeting is to take stock of the IGF 2016 meeting and intersessional processes, as well as take forward discussions on the programme and structure of the IGF 2017 meeting and other ongoing IGF activities.
